Welcome to ARK Foundation Nepal

Who We Are

Ark is a Not-for-profit distributing company registered in June 2022 under the Companies Act of Nepal. Before the formation of the company, ARK was an informal group, which was working among children and women mainly from underprivileged communities like Musahar through health, education, and holistic approach. At ARK, we are committed to creating lasting change within Nepal’s Musahar community. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by empowering women and educating children.

We transition women from economic uncertainty to financial independence by providing targeted training in sustainable income-generating skills like local artisan crafts, Tailoring, embroidery, Fabric painting, knitting.

For the younger generation, we provide targeted educational support to ensure that no child is left behind. Beyond academics, we cultivate leadership potential and self-confidence, preparing them to become future leaders who can uplift their entire community. Through health and education initiatives, ARK is working to build a future of equal opportunity, financial stability, and social dignity for the Musahar people.

Our Vision

We are based in Aurahi, a municipality in the southern region of Nepal within the Mahottari District of Madhesh Province. This area covers 144.73 square kilometers and has a population of 72,481.
